The „state of matter“ describes the different forms in which matter can exist; like water, ice and clouds.
The changes of matter in cycles are only making life on this planet possible. When they shift rapidly, cycles become out of rhythm, and this is exactly where humanity finds itself right now.
In this exhibition, artists Jovita Majewski, Rainer Jacob, and Johanna Reich call for an end to the exploitation of nature for the sake of constant economic growth and profit.
At the opening, Karina Syndicus will present a performance that reflects the themes of the exhibition. In her performances, she addresses structural differences and environmental psychological aspects of architectural and environmental influences.
