Inspiriert von einem Zitat von Camille Sapara Barton nähert sich die Gruppenausstellung „like a river, grief wants to move and flow“ Prozessen der kollektiven Trauer und ökosozialen Transformation durch Installation, Video, Sound, Performance und Gemeinschaft. Die Ausstellung rückt den Rhein als lebendigen Organismus in den Mittelpunkt und macht ihn als Ort des Erinnerns, der Widerständigkeit und der Bewegung erfahrbar. Trauer erscheint als fließende, transformierende Kraft, die gesellschaftliche und ökologische Prozesse prägt. Mythen und Narrative rund um Wasser werden aus dekolonialen und feministischen Perspektiven neu gelesen.

Inspired by a quote from Camille Sapara Barton, the group exhibition “like a river, grief wants to move and flow” approaches processes of collective grief and eco-social transformation through installation, video, sound, performance, and community.
The exhibition places the Rhine at its center as a living organism, making it tangible as a site of remembrance, resistance, and movement. Grief emerges as a flowing, transformative force that shapes social and ecological processes. Myths and narratives surrounding water are re-read from decolonial and feminist perspectives.
